Weekend Yoga Retreat 17 – 20 October 2025 in Devon

Unplug from the busyness of life

Escape for the weekend to the beautiful and tranquil setting of Middle Coombe Farm near Tiverton in Devon, where you can relax, rest and recharge with yoga, walking, swimming and nourishing food.

A Self Care Weekend

Press pause, close your eyes and imagine yourself starting the day slowly with guided meditation. Then waking up your body with a gently energising yoga practice.

Then later in the day letting the warmth of the heated studio floor ease out any tension, as you relax into a restorative yoga session.

On two evenings after dinner you can experience a sleep inducing yoga nidra, before retiring to a comfortable bed and the land of nod.

This is your retreat to do as much or as little as you like; all sessions are optional. Have a lie-in or start your day with morning meditation to clear your mind.

There’s plenty of down-time for you to explore the woods and nearby hill fort, read in the library, take an afternoon nap or revel in the heat and bubbles of the hot tub

Immerse your self in nature

The 16th century rustic estate is set in a secluded private valley with 200 acres of mixed woodland. There’s time to crunch your feet through the autumn leaves as you wander through the woods.

Take a walking meditation through the woods to the ancient oak tree.

You can meander up the lane to the nearby Hillfort and take in panoramic views across the rolling hills of Devon.

Weather permitting we can gather around the open fire and gaze at the stars.

We will have exclusive use of this peaceful setting, so you can truly escape from it all for a few blissful days.

A wonderfully relaxing and fun Yoga weekend with good company, very tasty vegetarian meals – the best nut roast ever – in a beautiful setting. Daily Yoga practice, meditation and a soothing Yoga Nidra before bedtime all led by Zoe who helped all of us, regardless of age and ability, to participate fully. There was even the extra addition of a meditative walk and a fire ceremony. Came home relaxed and reinvigorated. Thoroughly recommend.” Clare Marshall

Zoë your host and yoga guide

I have over 30 years yoga experience, with 12 years as a yoga teacher. I teach breath focused yoga that allows you to tune inwards with mindful movement.

I regularly teach a wide range of ages and abilities, so I offer options for poses, to ensure everyone can take part. There will be plenty of yoga props available with advice on how to use them and modify poses for the needs of your body and energy levels.

As well as my teacher training, I have qualifications in Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga for the Stages of Menopause and Somatics for Yoga Teachers. I love to interweave different styles into my classes working with the energy of the room on that day.  You can expect Hatha Yoga combined with some Yin, Restorative and maybe a sprinkle of Vinyasa.

The yoga will take place in a thatched studio with a heated floor over looking the woods.

Thank you so much for a really lovely time last weekend. It was so relaxing and I felt super healthy afterwards! The venue is beautiful, very comfortable bed and I loved the hot tub.

The setting is perfect, being able to walk from the door was great so that we did not need to get in the car at all. Amazing stars at night! I loved the woodland meditation particularly

The yoga space is perfect. The yoga classes were really good, gentle enough to suit us all but I could feel my quads afterwards ( a good thing!). Catherine P.
